Shall I Compare Thee To A Large Pimple?
Shall I compare thee to a large pimple?
Thou art more hideous and more painful.
Unruly blemishes do cover the darling skin of youths,
And festerings lease hath all too long a date.
Sometimes too horrid the eye of sores can whiten,
And often they are not white enough to burst.
And every terrible sore from terrible sore sometimes decline,
By popping, or natures changing course, untrimmed.
But thy eternal pimpleyness shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that awfulness thou owst;
When in the lines you grow and fester.
So long as sebaceous glands grow and skin be oily,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.
